Shivanthi is an Advisor and Principal at the New England Consulting Group, and a key member of our healthcare practice team.

An accomplished and collaborative business leader in marketing and advertising, Shivanthi brings over 25 years experience in brand strategy, innovation, consumer marketing, Rx-to-OTC, P&L management and business development within the healthcare industry.

Prior to joining New England, Shivanthi was the General Manager of the US healthcare business  at Reckitt Benckiser where she grew their portfolio, profits and market share across powerful cold and flu brands such as Mucinex, Delsym and Cepacol.  Exceeding benchmarks, Shivanthi leveraged valuable consumer and market insights to develop and launch new product innovations delivering double-digit-growth.

Shivanthi also spent over 15 years at Pfizer earning increased responsibility to ultimately become the Senior Director of Rx-to-OTC Switch and a key member of the US leadership team.  Managing multiple innovation programs, Shivanthi led large cross-functional teams to build US infrastructure and served as US Marketing Lead on the Acquisition Team that gained OTC rights to Nexium from Astra-Zeneca.

Beginning her career as a detail sales rep within the Cardiovascular and Primary Care sales forces at Warner-Lambert, Shivanthi has worked across numerous categories including Upper Respiratory, GI, Analgesics, Oral Care and Wound Care, laying the groundwork for her ability to provide a unique multi-level understanding of the healthcare industry.

Shivanthi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from State University of New York at Binghamton.
