All of our consultants are principals/owners; there are no employee consultants. Principals’ interests are significant and purchased, not given away . . . we have a strong ownership interest in the quality of our work and the success of our clients. Principals’ thinking is based on proven experience, not just theory.
“What I get from NECG is three very senior line managers spending a lot of time thinking about my business.”
SVP/GM, Business Unit of NYSE -
At least three principals are assigned to every client engagement – there are no “one-man” shows. All engagements are reviewed by the entire consulting group at least monthly for brainstorming, cross-fertilization of ideas, transference of knowledge and skills and analogue modeling, and fresh perspective. Clients are considered members of our team – when the engagement is completed, it will have been invented here.
“I could not believe how different NECG was from other consulting firms. I have not experienced such a sense of collaboration and winning together since my days at P&G.” President, Food & Beverage Company

Our mission is to help clients achieve specific objectives in the marketplace. Our results speak for themselves. A client list consisting of the most successful marketers in the world and an extraordinary amount of very timely and equally timeless experience.
“This is a home run strategy. Whether the ideas came from my people, or NECG people, we couldn’t have gotten to this point unless we had done it together.”

VP Global Marketing, Top 5 Pharmaceutical Company -
We combine rigorous analytical discipline with imaginative entrepreneurial creativity. We focus on strategies that offer relevant benefits to consumers and customers and are realistically achievable by our clients. We then exhaust the universe of creative executions, using consumers/customers, past experience and expert judgment in addition to market research.
We practice disruptive marketing, thinking outside as well as inside the box. We also practice behavioral economics, what people do, in addition to what people say. We overlay this entire process with an insatiable appetite for simplicity, a heavy reliance on common sense and an uncompromising attention to detail.“Their new product process was as creative as it was disciplined, and gave us a pipeline that will carry us through five or more years.”
President, OTC Products Company -
Our principals are marketing experts. They grew up in marketing oriented businesses. They managed marketing driven brands/companies. They consult principally for best-in-class marketing companies and have mastered every facet of marketing.
“New England’s in-depth practical experience dictated a new, more focused channel and brand strategy that will accelerate and improve our position in the market. Their ability to distill consumer insights and help us focus on important equities has been invaluable.”
