David Williams

Dave is a Advisory Partner & Principal of the New England Consulting Group, and a key member of the consumer packaged goods and healthcare practice teams.

Dave’s career spans over 30 years across a broad range of consumer and healthcare businesses, combining general management, advertising and consulting experiences.  His background includes both global and U.S. responsibilities within leadership organizations including Procter & Gamble, R.J. Reynolds, GlaxoSmithKline, Unilever and Mullen Lowe Group.  While at Unilever London, he was Deputy Head of the Global Marketing Division.

Dave is a creative, growth-focused marketing executive with a proven track record of invigorating maturing brands and building next generation growth platforms.  As a consulting partner, Dave managed engagements in market segments from luxury to commodities and within channels from specialty to mass to foodservice.

Dave has led long-term engagements over time for PepsiCo, Johnson & Johnson, Nestlé and IBM, among others, focusing on both strategy and functional projects from new product innovation roadmaps to brand repositionings to revenue management optimization.

He has the unique ability to listen to and identify management concerns while synthesizing complex issues into strategic insights to drive business results.

David holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA in Marketing from Cornell’s Johnson School of Management.
