Martha Pease


Martha is a Managing Partner at the New England Consulting Group, the premier marketing management consulting firm in the world. She is key to the company's health and beauty care, technology, luxury goods, food service, digital and marketing strategy practices with a strong emphasis on "consumer activation".

With over twenty years as a marketing, media and strategy executive, building brand value and profitable top-line growth for companies in highly competitive categories, Martha's career has spanned advertising, consumer product marketing and consulting.

Prior to joining New England, Martha was Founder and CEO of Ozz Consulting, with successful engagements for clients including American Express, Wendy's International, HP, Hitachi, Epson, Novell and H2O+. Martha spent 13 years in leadership roles in advertising agencies, launching iconic brands like the IBM PC and Apple Macintosh, and building brands including Pizza Hut, Domino's, L'Oreal Paris, Elizabeth Arden and Mobil Oil. Martha created agency value through inventive leadership of some of the most challenging key client accounts (DDB, Lord, Geller, Federico, Einstein, BBDO and McCann Erickson).

Martha drives top-line results for clients with focus on developing a vision for sustainable brand growth, and works with leadership teams to facilitate the process of execution behind a brand growth strategy. She also advises clients on how to create organizational buy-in, excitement and commitment to key marketing initiatives, and building consumer engagement.

Martha is a skilled marketer, and as head of marketing and new products at Neutrogena led the development and launch of Healthy Skin, the groundbreaking line of AHA skin care products, which remains the brand's core offering today. She led the diversification of the Lifetime TV brand into multiple media, including an innovative platform of co-branded content to increase advertiser revenue, as EVP of marketing and enterprise development.

Martha has worked with internet-based start-ups as an investor and advisor, and served for 7 years as a board member for Fetch Technology. She has served on the advisory board of Voice Publishing and on the Neutrogena Executive Operating Board. Martha is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a BA in English Literature and Film History, and a diploma from the Harvard Radcliffe Publishing Procedures Course.
