DONALD G. FRITZ
Don is a Managing Partner & Principal of the New England Consulting Group and a key member of our Consumer Packaged Goods & Global Branding practices.
A senior business leader with a unique combination of functional, international and multi-category management expertise, Don has a very successful track record in complex environments initiating and leading critical business transformations while growing revenues & profits.
At the New England Consulting Group, Don has worked on a number of engagements for Ben & Jerry’s, Heinz, Smucker’s and Tropicana, in consumer package goods; Capital One, financial services; Jenny Craig, diet systems; Knoll/Abbott, healthcare; Purdue Chicken and Premium Farms, animal protein.
Prior to New England, Don led a distinguished career at Kellogg Europe, culminating in his appointment to President and CEO of Kellogg International. Through his restructuring implementation, Don was able to transition from a multi-country to a single European organization. He also developed and implemented a competitive business model that ended share erosion while adding value through revenue and growth. This effort resulted in increased profitability in Great Britain and Southern and Northern Europe and South Africa for Kellogg.
At Kellogg Asia-Pacific, Don’s achievements included, but were not limited to, establishing once-interrupted Korean business for profit and growth, establishing and resourcing the Asian Export Company to focus on emerging Asian markets and continued enhancements of market leadership positions in the Australian market and the evolution of supply chain as well as sales and industrial relations initiatives.
Don began his career at Campbell Soup, where he worked his way up the ranks to Vice President of Marketing.
Don holds a BA in Mathematics from The University of Waterloo in addition to an MBA in Business Administration, Finance and Economics from McMaster University.
