CHUCK MANISCALCO

Chuck is a Principal of the New England Consulting Group and a key member of our CPG Marketing Strategy and Change Management teams.

Chuck’s career spans 28 years of Marketing and General Management, culminating as President and CEO of a major division of PepsiCo, with revenues approaching $10B and an employee base of 10,000 associates.

In his last position as CEO of QTG (Quaker, Tropicana & Gatorade), Chuck navigated his team through difficult cost and competitive challenges while maintaining healthy growth at both the top and bottom lines, including a successful acquisition of an emerging growth company, “Naked Juice.”

At Frito-Lay, Chuck started up a new $1B division combining the Quaker Snacks division of Quaker Oats with Frito-Lay non-salty snacks, delivering 12% sales growth and $11MM net profits well ahead of schedule.

While serving as President of Gatorade, Chuck and his team doubled the business in less than five years through aggressive marketing execution, successful line extensions and a new product, “Propel”, which pioneered a whole new category called “Fitness Water.”

Chuck began his career at The Quaker Oats Company and spent his first years in Consumer Insights, helping define and implement the first systematic, disciplined pursuit of a complete consumer knowledge base on the company’s key brands and key consumer groups. Further, he helped to pioneer an approach to consumer segmentation that became the foundation of how the company operated all of its brands.

Chuck holds a BA in Pyschology, as well as an MA in Experimental Psychology, from Bowling Green State University.

Chuck is an avid runner and sits on the boards of three non-for-profit institutions in the Chicago area.
